What do weekly rhythms of Fasting look like?

Fasting is the simple practice of :

  • Not eating food for a period of time (a meal, sunrise to sunset, a full day, etc)

  • To discipline one’s “flesh” (sarx)

  • Give oneself over to extended times of prayer

  • Save resources so you can be more generous
