2023 Church Budget Goals

For 2023 we felt led to try a reverse budget. Essentially this means beginning with gaining clarity on everyone’s prayerfully led giving commitment for the year. Then our finance team met to finalize the budget based on these commitments. Our intention here is that our collective discernment helps shape our spending and stewardship, rather than doing traditional fundraising to hit a goal. Of course each of our giving commitments are simply “best intent” and may also change, but we felt like this could be a healthier way to manage finances in this stage of our community.
